RCMP investigates theft of paving equipment in Carbonear

The RCMP in Harbour Grace is investigating the theft of an asphalt trailer that occurred during the overnight hours between December 7 and 8 from the parking lot of a business on Powell Drive in Carbonear.

Shortly before midnight, surveillance video shows the theft of a black, 2016 Lee Boy asphalt trailer from the parking lot of Concord Paving Ltd. A red GMC pickup truck with an extended cab was observed driving away from the parking lot with the trailer in tow.

The stolen trailer has an NL plate, TRJ556.

The investigation is continuing.
