RCMP Investigates Home Invasion in Conception Harbour

Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred in Conception Harbour on Monday morning.

A 37-year-old woman has been arrested and charged while police search for a second suspect, a male.

Police located a man with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and learned that a number of people fled the area in a dark coloured Ford 150 truck, prior to police arrival.

The RCMP notified the RNC who quickly located the suspected vehicle near the Foxtrap Access Road. The truck was seized for the purposes of the investigation. A 37-year-old St. John’s woman was later located and taken into custody.

She faces charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and break and enter. She was released from police custody on conditions and is scheduled to attend court on December 2.

The man who police are looking for is described as being tall and of a stocky build, with brown hair and brown eyes.
