RCMP conducting operation in Carbonear

The RCMP is currently conducting a police operation in Carbonear.

Residents will see an increased police presence in the area of Gilmour Place.

While police do not believe there is any immediate threat to the general public, residents are being asked to avoid the area at this time.

In the interest of police safety, people are asked to refrain from posting images, video and information about police activities.
