RCMP charges Marystown man with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
Police have charged 29-year-old Terrance Adams of Marystown with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
Shortly before 2:00 a.m. on May 25, Burin Peninsula RCMP acted on information that was provided and conducted a traffic stop with a car on McGettigan Boulevard in Marystown.
Adams, the lone occupant of the car, was arrested at the traffic stop. A quantity of cocaine, more than $1000.00 cash and other items consistent with drug trafficking were located and seized.
Adams was held in police custody to attend court. He is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and was released on conditions.
The investigation is continuing.
