RCMP Charge Two on Drug-Related Offenses in Labrador

RCMP have charged two people with drug-related offences following a search warrant execution on an apartment in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

On August 25, police searched an apartment on Hamilton River Road in the community.

A quantity of cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking were seized.

Seventy-one-year-old Deloris Colbourne and 64-year-old Sterling Colbourne are each charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and trafficking cocaine under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Both individuals are set to attend court at a later date.
