RCMP charge Sheshatshiu man with murder

Police have arrested 51-year-old Eric Rich in connection with a murder that occurred in Sheshatshiu.

A 37-year-old woman was killed in the community on Wednesday.

The accused has been charged with second-degree murder.

There is currently no known risk to public safety.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is engaged and the investigation is continuing.
