RCMP Arrests Impaired Driver In Hopedale

On December 28th, RCMP released an announcement stating they have arrested an impaired driver on Sitsik road in Hopedale.

The 38-year-old man was operating a snowmobile before his arrest It was also reported that he had a liquor bottle in his hand, he tried to resist the arrest, and breathing tests were issued on the scene.

The man was also selling liquor in his residence, he was later charged with peddling alcohol under the Liquor Control Act. and will appear in court at a later date.
