RCMP has arrested a man following a hit and run in Carbonear.
A pedestrian was left injured on the parking lot of Subway in Carbonear on October 30 when a 61-year-old man allegedly struck her and fled the scene.
Police received a number of tips last week that lead to the identification of the driver on November 5.
He now faces a criminal charge for failing to remain at the scene of an accident resulting in bodily harm.
The man was released from police custody and is scheduled to attend court at a later date.
