RCMP Arrest Impaired Driver in Goose Bay #nltraffic

RCMP arrested a 22-year-old Happy Valley-Goose Bay woman for impaired driving following a tip from the public.

On Monday morning, police received information of a suspected impaired driver departing a local bar. Officers patrolled the area and located the described vehicle parked at a residence on Mesher Street.

The investigation led police to the arrest of a woman for impaired driving. She was transported to the detachment and provided breath samples that were more than two and a half times the legal limit. The woman was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to answer to charges of impaired driving.

Her licence was suspended and the vehicle was seized and impounded for 30 days.
