RCMP and RNC taking part in Operation Impact this weekend

Both the RCMP and the RNC are taking part in Operation Impact this weekend.

Operation Impact focuses on education and enforcement of the four most significant factors of serious and fatal collisions: impaired driving, distracted driving, aggressive driving, and not wearing a seatbelt or wearing one incorrectly.

This weekend, there will be an increase in patrols, and police will be conducting checkpoints throughout the province.
