RCMP advise of reduced lanes of traffic on the Trans-Canada Highway in Appleton

The RCMP in Gander advises of slowed travel along the Trans-Canada Highway due to a tractor-trailer jackknifed on the bridge in Appleton.

Emergency crews are responding to the scene.

The Trans-Canada Highway remains passable at this time, but motorists are asked to drive with extra caution as the bridge deck is extremely slippery.
