Rally at Confederation Building in support of Terra Nova project #nlpoli

There was a rally outside Confederation Building this morning in support of the Terra Nova project while an emergency debate was taking place inside.

Dave Mercer, President of Unifor Local 2121 spoke on what the loss of the project would mean to workers in this province.

Premier Andrew Furey met with demonstrators outside the building.

The Provincial Government recently announced that they cannot provide funding to the Terra Nova project.
