Public Procurement Agency to attend Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association’s Build 2025 Expo

Representatives from the Public Procurement Agency will share insights and advice on doing business and bidding for work during the Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association’s Build 2025 expo, May 7 to 8, at the Jack Byrne Regional Sport and Entertainment Centre in Torbay.

The agency will be joined by representatives from the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services, Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation, and Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro.

The Public Procurement Agency is responsible for procuring goods and services on behalf of government departments in accordance with the Public Procurement Act. The Act, which applies to other public bodies including municipalities, enables the pursuit of best value, transparency, and accountability in procurement.
