Public Invited to Tour New Health Sciences Centre Emergency Department Ahead of Opening

Residents will have an opportunity to tour the new emergency department at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's before it begins treating patients next month.

NL Health Services announced that it will host public tours of the new facility at 300 Prince Philip Drive today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tours will begin every 30 minutes.

Staff from NL Health Services will lead the guided tours and be available to answer questions about the new emergency department and its features.

The new emergency department is scheduled to officially open for patient care on Saturday, Aug. 8.

Visitors attending the tours are asked to use the entrance to the new emergency department at the Health Sciences Centre to access the event.
