PSAC & Treasury Board reach tentative agreement

The Public Service Alliance of Canada and the Treasury Board have reached a tentative agreement.

With the national strike now over for Treasury Board workers, members of five bargaining groups are required to return to work either today or their next scheduled shift.

Under the new agreement, workers will receive wage increases totalling 12.6 percent compounded over the life of the agreement from 2021 to 2024. There will also be a one-time lump-sum payment.

PSAC members will have access to additional protection when subject to decisions about remote work. Managers will need to assess remote work requests individually, not by group, and provide written responses that will allow members to hold the employer accountable to equitable and fair decision-making on remote work.
