Provincial Government Now Accepting Applications from Interested Ride Sharing Operators

Ride sharing in the province is one step closer to becoming a reality after the Provincial Government announced it is now accepting applications from operators interested in offering ride sharing services in the province.

The application is available on the Government’s website.

Ride sharing providers will be required to follow the same provincial rules and safety standards as taxi services in order to operate.

Regulations for ride sharing were published in the Newfoundland and Labrador Gazette.
