The provincial government has announced the closure of the Province’s Boston Office, an office established under the previous Liberal government.
According to a statement, the closure will save the province approximately $1 million annually.
Departments from within the province will pursue opportunities in established markets while looking to expand outreach in regions such as Asia and Europe.
The hope is to continue to maintain relationships with partners in New England, with engagement managed from this province.
