Provincial Art Bank Opens Call for Artwork from Newfoundland and Labrador Artists

Newfoundland and Labrador artists are being invited to submit their work for consideration in the Provincial Art Bank program.

The Rooms announced that submissions are now being accepted for the program, which acquires contemporary artwork created by artists from across the province through funding provided by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Provincial Art Bank collection is designed to support and showcase the province’s artistic community while increasing public access to local artwork. Pieces acquired through the program are displayed in exhibitions and installed in government offices and public buildings throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.

Artists have until Sept. 7, 2026, to submit their work for consideration.

The Rooms said it has recently simplified the application process through a new online submission form. Images of artwork are now accepted electronically by email as part of the streamlined process.
