Province will move to a modified alert level 3 on Monday

As of Monday, the province will move to a modified alert level 3.

Today there are 198 new cases.

Regional Breakdown

• Eastern Health 108

• Central Health 42

• Western Health 41

• Labrador-Grenfell Health 7

There are 20 people in hospital. There has been one death in the Eastern Health region.

There have been 372 new recoveries, leaving 1,720 active cases.

In modified alert level three:

• Bars can reopen at 50 percent capacity. Cinemas can reopen at 25 percent capacity.

• Masks must be worn at all times except when eating or drinking.

• Sports teams can practice but no competitions are permitted.

• Formal gatherings are limited to 50 people or 25 percent capacity, whichever is less. Informal gatherings are limited to your steady 20.
