Province seeking more Foster Families

The province is launching a new campaign aimed at recruiting more foster families.

The program, titled "Foster a Future," will be a province-wide campaign designed to raise awareness of fostering and encourage more residents to consider becoming foster parents.

With more than 900 children and youth currently in care across the province, there is a critical need for individuals and families to step forward and provide safe, stable and supportive homes.

Training, resources and ongoing support are available to foster families throughout their fostering journey.
