Province announces appointments, reappointments to Memorial University Board of Regents

The Newfoundland and Labrador government has announced the appointment and reappointment of six members to the Board of Regents at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Justin Ladha has been reappointed as chairperson of the board.

The province has appointed Donna Rideout and Glenn Normore as joint representatives serving on both Memorial University's Board of Regents and the Board of Governors at College of the North Atlantic.

Meanwhile, Tim Powers, Lynn Zurel and Bob Hallett have been reappointed as general member representatives on the board.

The Board of Regents serves as Memorial University's corporate governing body and is responsible for overseeing the institution's property, finances, operations and overall affairs. The board is composed of members with a wide range of professional experience and expertise.
