Proposals Now Open for 2026 Indigenous Violence Prevention Grants Program

The provincial government is accepting applications for the 2026 Indigenous Violence Prevention Grants Program, an initiative aimed at supporting projects that help prevent violence against Indigenous women, children, and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Eligible projects may include initiatives focused on increasing awareness, education and training, investing in leadership development, building community capacity, and enhancing opportunities for healing.

Applications are being accepted by the provincial Office of Women and Gender Equality until June 7, 2026, at 4 p.m. NDT.
