RCMP in Newfoundland and Labrador have arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with multiple break and enters in the Conception Bay North area.

Justin King of Western Bay was arrested Thursday by RCMP East District’s General Investigation Section and Harbour Grace RCMP as part of an ongoing offender management initiative in the Trinity–Conception District.

Police say King was taken into custody on Feb. 5 after officers determined he was in breach of court-ordered release conditions. A search warrant was executed the following day at a residence in Western Bay, where officers recovered stolen property linked to several break and enters and thefts in the region.

As a result of the investigation, King faces charges related to incidents between Dec. 10, 2025, and Feb. 1, 2026. The charges include three counts of break and enter, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime, theft over $5,000, driving while prohibited, three counts each of failing to comply with a release order and a probation order, and one count of failing to comply with an emergency protection order.

King appeared in provincial court Monday and was remanded into custody. His next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 13.

RCMP say investigations into reported break and enters in the Conception Bay North area are ongoing and additional arrests and charges are anticipated.

Police say the arrest was the result of a coordinated offender management initiative led by RCMP East District with support from Trinity–Conception District RCMP. Since October 2025, the initiative has resulted in the arrest of nine offenders for breaches of court-imposed conditions and the laying of 82 charges, including 37 for failure to comply with court orders.
