Price of furnace oil dramatically increases

The Public Utilities Board has dramatically increased the price of furnace oil overnight.

Furnace oil has increased by 19.99 cents per litre. The Public Utilities Board cites the reason as "due to recent commodity market developments."

Yesterday on the regular weekly adjustment, furnace oil increased by just 1.18 cents per litre.

The price of other fuel is unchanged.
