Power outage in parts of Corner Brook

Almost 2,000 customers in Corner Brook are without power due to an unplanned power outage.

The areas of Downtown, Townsite, West Valley Road to Raymond Heights, University Drive, Philip Drive, Bayview Street to Dunfield Park, and Mount Bernard to Wellington Street are without power.

The cause of the outage is unknown and there is no estimated restoration time.

The power went out around 1:30 pm.
