Roads are snow-covered in eastern, central, and southern Newfoundland this morning, with travel not recommended on the Baccalieu Trail, the Metro area, the Southern Shore Highway, Terra Nova National Park, and the Burgeo Highway.

Marine Atlantic has cancelled crossings for this morning and anticipates that crossings for tonight may be impacted. The MV Kamutik W, MV Astron W, MV Marine Eagle, and MV Marine Trader are all out of service due to severe weather.

The majority of flights in and out of St. John's are cancelled.
