Police stop three uninsured drivers in Deer Lake within 24 hours

The RCMP ticketed three uninsured drivers in Deer Lake within 24 hours.

This past weekend police conducted three traffic stops. In those stops, all three drivers did not have a valid insurance policy.

Two separate stops were conducted on High Street at approximately 8:15 a.m. and 4:20 p.m., on Friday. Both of those vehicles also had expired registration.

On Saturday morning at approximately 7:30 a.m. another stop was conducted on High Street. In addition to having no insurance, the driver, who held a permit, was operating without the required appropriate accompanying driver.

All three drivers received the tickets and their vehicles were seized and impounded.
