Police seize vehicle speeding in Corner Brook school zone

A driver is without his vehicle after speeding through a school zone in Corner Brook.

On Tuesday afternoon police observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed in a school zone located on Wellington Street.

The officer conducted a traffic stop and determined that the driver was driving with a suspended driver’s license.

The 38-year-old driver was issued tickets for speeding in a school zone and operating with a suspended license.

The vehicle was impounded.
