Police seize significant quantity of cocaine in Natuashish

The RCMP and Community Safety Officers in Natuashish seized a significant quantity of cocaine back on August 4.

Police say the cocaine had an approximate street value of $20,000.

It was seized by Natuashish RCMP, in collaboration with Mushuau Innu Community Safety Officers, at the Natuashish Airport.

An individual flying into Natuashish abandoned the 82 baggies of cocaine in a washroom to avoid detection.
