Police seize cocaine in Clarenville traffic stops

The RCMP in Clarenville conducted a traffic stop involving two vehicles on November 3 after receiving information from the Federal Serious and Organized Crime Unit in St. John’s.


In those traffic stops, police found a quantity of cocaine. Three men were arrested.


Officers seized 310 grams of cocaine and seized both vehicles.


A 35-year-old man is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and resisting arrest. Two other men, ages 50 and 44, each face a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.


All three individuals were released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.


The investigation continues.
