Police seize cocaine, cash and prescription pills in Corner Brook

The new RCMP-RNC Joint Force Operation West, targeting drug trafficking and organized crime on the west coast of the province, has seized cocaine, cash and prescription pills after executing a search warrant at Corner Brook residence.

Officers executed a search warrant on Thursday on Gilliam’s Road.

Two people, a 52-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman, are facing drug-related charges as a result. Multiple charges are expected.

Officers seized cocaine, cash, prescription pills, scales and other items indicative of drug trafficking from the home.

They will appear in court at a later date.
