Police searching for stolen utility trailer near Long Harbour

The RCMP in Whitbourne is looking for the person(s) responsible for the theft of a utility trailer that was taken while parked on the side of Route 202, near Long Harbour.

The utility trailer was stolen sometime between noon on May 23 and 10:00 a.m. on May 25.

It has a bent axle and the license plate number is TLS637.

It is likely the trailer would have produced smoke while being towed due to mechanical issues. The investigation is continuing.
