Police recover stolen vehicle in St. John's

On Thursday afternoon the RNC received a report pertaining to a stolen vehicle in the east end of St. John’s.

The vehicle was stolen from a public recreation venue.

Police later located the stolen vehicle on Prince Philip Drive and a traffic stop was conducted. The 25-year-old male driver was arrested at the scene.

He is charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Impaired Driving, Refusal of a Drug evaluation Demand, Resisting Arrest and Breach of Release Order.

He was held to appear in court.
