Police nab suspect attempting to burn garbage near business in Corner Brook

Corner Brook RNC arrested a 42-year-old man just after midnight behind a business in the city.

Police were called to a report that a man was attempting to ignite a bag of garbage behind a business on West Street.

The man was arrested for mischief to property, two counts of breaching his probation order, and failing to comply with a condition of a release order.

The accused was held in custody and will appear in court today.
