Police made another drug bust in Corner Brook

The RCMP-RNC JFO West has made another drug bust.

On Wednesday evening, officers executed a search warrant on a home on Pleasant Street in Corner Brook.

Police located six ounces of cocaine, one and a half pounds of illicit cannabis, a quantity of cash, an imitation firearm, a number of edged weapons, and items consistent with drug trafficking.

A 62-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.

He was later released from custody and is set to attend court in July.

The investigation remains active and more charges are anticipated.
