The RCMP's Major Crimes Unit has charged 30-year-old David Faucher with first-degree murder in connection with the homicide of Franz Drosch in Happy Valley-Goose Bay back in August of 2023.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Faucher, who is the subject of a Canada-wide arrest warrant and actively evading police.
Faucher, who originates from Sherbrooke, Quebec, is wanted by the RCMP.
Although Faucher is believed to be in the Sherbrooke region, investigators believe he has connections to the Trois-Rivières region of Montreal and Mexico.
Faucher is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs approximately 190 lbs and has brown eyes.
Faucher is believed to be operating a 2026 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, grey in colour, with Quebec licence plate FTV 8960.
