Police investigating hit and run in Portugal Cove

The RNC is asking for the public's help in relation to a collision in Portugal Cove on August 6.

At around 9:20 pm the RNC responded to the report of a hit and run in the area of the Ferry Terminal in Portugal Cove.

A male on a skateboard was struck by a larger style motorcycle which left the scene.

The operator of the motorcycle was last seen pushing it toward the Ferry Terminal. The male was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police or Crime Stoppers.
