Police investigating fatal moose collision in Aquaforte

One person is dead after a fatal collision between a motorcycle and a moose that occurred on Route 10 in Aquaforte.

On Sunday the RCMP and Emergency Medical Services received the report of the collision and attended the scene.

When first responders reached the scene, the lone occupant of the motorcycle was located deceased.

At this time the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is engaged. A Collision Analyst with RCMP Traffic Services attended the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
