Police investigating break and enter in Carbonear

The RCMP is investigating a break and enter that occurred this morning at Butt’s Esso in downtown Carbonear.

A pedestrian contacted police after observing damage to the building’s doors and windows.

Surveillance footage inside the store captured a suspect, who presents as a woman, entering through the front window.

The suspect stole a case of beer and a number of lottery tickets, including scratch tickets and break-open tickets.
