Police investigating armed robbery in Corner Brook

The RNC is investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Corner Brook last night.

Just after midnight, an armed robbery occurred at a business on Commercial Street. The lone suspect presented a weapon while demanding cash. After a brief altercation with an individual inside the business, the suspect fled the area. A female victim sustained minor physical injury.

The suspect is believed to be approximately 30 years old, about five feet and eight inches tall, with a slim build. He wore blue lens glasses and a green oilskin-style jacket.
