The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Thursday evening at a gas station in Goulds.
Around 7:40 p.m. on November 6, officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Esso station in the community. Police say a male suspect entered the business and brandished a weapon while demanding cash from the register.
The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money before officers arrived. Police Dog Services and the Forensic Identification Section assisted in the response and ongoing investigation.
No injuries were reported, and the RNC says the investigation remains active. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
