Police investigating after safe stolen from business in Pound Cove

The RCMP is investigating after a safe was stolen from a business in Pound Cove.

On Tuesday the RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter into Notre Dame Building Supplies.

The suspects stole a safe weighing approximately 200lbs and containing an undisclosed amount of cash. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime over this past weekend.

RCMP is seeking any witnesses who may have seen suspicious activity in the area over the weekend or have information about this crime.
