Police investigate suspicious death in St. John’s

The RNC is investigating a suspicious death following an incident in the centre city area of St. John’s on Friday.

Police say officers responded around 1:50 p.m. after receiving a request for assistance from paramedics at a residence. Upon arrival, a person was found deceased.

The RNC’s Major Crime Unit has taken over the investigation, which police have deemed suspicious.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no further details have been released.
