Police investigate road rage assault in St. John’s

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating an alleged road rage incident that led to an assault in the east end of St. John’s on the evening of Thursday, July 24.
Police responded to a report of an assault at approximately 7:00 p.m. during the investigation, it was determined that the incident stemmed from a road rage confrontation.
A 66-year-old man was arrested in connection with the assault. He was later released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to face a charge of assault
