Police investigate break and enter at Powell’s Supermarket in Carbonear

The RCMP are investigating a break and enter at Powell’s Supermarket in Carbonear on Monday.

An alarm was activated at the business shortly before 3:00 am on Monday. Responding officers confirmed that a break and enter had occurred. Two suspects forced entry into the store entered the business and stole a quantity of cigarettes from inside.

The RCMP Forensic Identification Services attended the scene and the investigation is continuing.
