Police dog tracks down wanted Man in Flatrock

A 22-year-old man was arrested Friday afternoon after fleeing from police during a call in Flatrock, according to the RNC.
Police were called to a residence around 1:40 p.m. on Saturday in search of a wanted individual. When officers arrived, the man reportedly ran from the home and evaded police.
The RNC’s K9 Unit was brought in, and Police Dog Mackey tracked the suspect to a wooded area nearby. He was taken into custody without further incident.
The man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and is now facing additional charges, including obstructing a police officer and breaching court orders.
