Police charge 19-year-old with trafficking

The RNC made a drug seizure in St. John's on Tuesday.

Police arrested Zachery Mulrooney at a shopping centre where he was found to be in possession of a quantity of pills that appear to be Dilaudid but are expected to contain more noxious substances.

The substance will be tested by Health Canada.

The 19-year-old was held in custody to appear in court. He was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The investigation is ongoing.
