Police arrested dangerous off-road motorcycle driver

On Saturday afternoon the RNC was conducting patrols in the east end of St. John’s.

Officers observed an off-road motorcycle being operated in a reckless manner on a highway.

The motorcycle was located a short while later after initially fleeing from police. The 19-year-old male driver was arrested and is charged with Dangerous Driving and Flight from Police. He was also issued multiple summary offence tickets.

The driver will appear in court at a later date and the motorcycle was impounded.
