Police arrest youth for public mischief in Mount Pearl

Shortly after 8:30 p.m. Officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Patrol Services responded to a report of a suspicious youth in the area of Mount Pearl.


Officers located the youth but the youth attempted to mislead police by providing a false name. Through investigation, it was learned the youth was meant to abide by a court order which included a daily curfew.


The youth was arrested for Public Mischief and Breach of Release Order. The youth was held for court.
