Police arrest male following assault in East-End St John's on Christmas night

December 25th, 2024

On Christmas Day, shortly before 8:30 p.m. Officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) were called to a residence in the east end of St. John’s for a report of a disturbance. Upon police arrival, as officers investigated, A 50 year old male was arrested and charged with Assault with a Weapon, Uttering Threats and Mischief.

The male was held to appear in court in the morning.
